What are the advantages of pronatur products?
pronatur's paints and plasters are particularly health-friendly as they are free from chemical plasticisers and do not contain any solvents. Many of the natural materials used have positive properties that are retained and can continue to develop their effect as soon as they have been applied to the wall or ceiling. In contrast to colours with commercially available synthetic resins, pronatur products are breathable, thus promoting the indoor climate and inviting you to linger and feel good.
Are pronatur products suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes, pronatur's paints and plasters are free from chemical plasticisers and solvents. In addition, some products have properties that reduce mould growth, improve air quality by trapping dust and regulate humidity. Allergy sufferers can therefore use our products without hesitation.
Which raw materials does pronatur use?
pronatur ensures that the raw materials for its products are extracted and processed in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Our minerals and inorganic raw materials are therefore mined in an environmentally friendly way, while our plant-based ingredients come from sustainable farms. We do not use synthetic substances in production and instead work with natural additives and processes as far as possible. In this way, pronatur protects the environment and manufactures products that enable consumers to act sustainably.
Does pronatur lime mineral paint discolour?
No. pronatur lime mineral paint is smudge-proof after drying and no longer discolours, as the natural binders it contains fix the lime to the substrate.
Why is the clay colour white if clay is brown?
Clay pigments can have different colours that are not just in the earthy range. A white clay is used as the basis for pronatur clay colour to create a cosy natural white. As it is a natural product, the colour can vary; if necessary, pronatur clay paint is lightened with natural white pigments, which are harmless to health and do not restrict the positive effect of the clay.
What do I use mineral colours for?
As a silicate mineral paint, pronatur interior white is particularly suitable for rooms with highly variable humidity levels, e.g. living rooms, bedrooms and children's rooms. Here, the silicate paint can utilise its ability to regulate humidity particularly well. Mould infestation also has almost no chance in rooms with mineral paint.
What do I have to consider with the individual products?
Silicate paint is not quite as easy to apply as conventional emulsion paints. It is therefore advisable to wear gloves and safety goggles when applying pronatur interior white and to avoid contact with skin and eyes. Once the paint has dried, it is completely safe to use!
Does pronatur also offer other colours?
pronatur products are available as white base colours and can be coloured with universal tinting concentrate.
